Meet your hosts, Robyn and Josh, originally from Western Australia and England, respectively, who have found their calling in the serene landscapes of Nethercote. Robyn is a passionate wholefoods home cook, dedicated animal lover, counsellor, and health coach. She delights in preparing beautiful meals for guests and sharing her love for her animals through offering animal experiences. Since moving to the country Josh has a new found love of woodworking and does most of the maintenance to the property. Described affectionately as corporate defectors, they've embraced a new lifestyle, now dedicated to sharing their love of animals and nature with others seeking a peaceful retreat


THE PROPERTY
Set amidst rolling hills and bordered by a pristine national park, our 50-acre property offers a tranquil retreat. The north-facing aspect ensures abundant sunlight and privacy, with no adjoining neighbours. Discover our very own stunning waterfall and a peaceful weir ideal for reading by, yoga, or meditation. In addition to native wildlife like birds, deer, kangaroos, and wombats, our property is home to friendly cows, donkeys and goats that guests can interact with, adding to the charm of this rural getaway. Ideal for nature enthusiasts and animal lovers alike, our retreat provides hiking trails and wildlife observation spots, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the serene beauty of this natural setting
THE ANIMALS
Meet the delightful furry and feathered residents of Edenvale Farm. Our friendly Scottish Highland cows eagerly await pats and brushes, while our affectionate donkeys love nothing more than being fed and groomed. Our goats are adventurous companions, happy to join guests on bushwalks and even carry items in their saddle bags. Guests can arrange personalized animal experiences to learn more about these charming creatures, adding a unique and memorable touch to their stay in this tranquil natural retreat.

THE AREA
Nethercote is a tranquil rural locality located in Far South Coast New South Wales, perfect for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. Surrounded by rolling hills, national parks and scenic farmlands, it offers all sorts of outdoor activities like hiking, bird watching, and access to 58 km of world-class mountain biking trails. The stunning Nethercote Falls and nearby secluded beaches with crystal clear waters provide refreshing escapes, dolphin and whale watching, while fresh water pools offer perfect spots for picnics and cold water immersion.
Close to the charming towns of Eden, Pambula and Merimbula, visitors can enjoy great food at local restaurants and explore vibrant markets offering fresh produce and handmade goods. Oyster farms dot the nearby coastline for eat in or take away oysters, or get fresh fish and prawns straight from the port in Eden. Us locals reckon this area is Australia’s best kept secret!
